Sony Xperia Sola : Smartphone Navigate Floating Touch

Sony Mobile launched a new Smartphone, named Xperia Sola. Sony's latest product is equipped with the latest navigation, floating touch. With floating touch, users do not need to touch to activate the application or feature. But enough to hold the finger and then direct the application icon or feature in question.

Sony also includes a near field communication (NFC), which synergized with SmarTag. The application offers a new experience when it will change the settings and applications. Sony Xperia Sola has two smartTag. By enabling the NFC in SmartTag, will perform the configuration profile. This profile can be personalized as required by the command. There are about 10 commands for this feature.

Sony Xperia Sola works with Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. Sony offers up grade to the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich when they become available. Sony Xperia sola using 3.7-inch screen FWVGA (480×854) Retina display using BRAVIA technology mobile and scratch resistant glass. In terms of the hardware, Xperia sola will come with a 1GHz dual-core ST-Ericsson NovaThor U8500 processor, Mali 400 GPU and 512MB RAM. You also get 8GB of internal storage (5GB user accessible), plus a microSD card.

Sony Xperia Sola has a 5 mega pixel camera with a feature-rich photo processing. Auto focus camera with integrated flash can be used for video recording 16x digital zoom with 720p format. Image processing applications that are available include 2D and 3D Sweep Panorama, Face detection, Geotagging, Red-eye reduction, self-timer Send to web and Smile detection.

Sony Xperia Sola will be available in three colours (black, white and red).  Price is expected to be around  €329 ($430) and be available by late April.
