LG Optimus Pad LTE Tablet Specifications - Starting in 2012 the electronics company LG launched a new tablet computer that is named Optimus Pad LTE. LG Electronics introduced its first tablet that has been equipped with the ability of 4G Long Term Evolution (LTE). LG LTE technology combined with the tablet computer is a boon for consumers who use it as their primary device while on the go. In addition to LTE technology, the LG also equip Optimus Pad LTE tablet with display True HD IPS. LG also claims Optimus Pad LTE is the first tablet that supports SD memory cards that can add up to 32GB capacity.

LG has made official the Optimus Pad LTE, which comes with as well as a 8.9-inch, 1280 x 768 IPS LCD display and a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor. The slate is 9.34mm thin, weighs 1.1 pounds and has only a single pair of cameras on board, unlike its 3D predecessor: one two-megapixel imager for front-facing shots, a 6,800mAh battery, and an 8-megapixel camera around back.

The Optimus Pad LTE tablet will first launch in LG’s homeland of Korea, but will make its way to international territories later this year. There’s currently no word on pricing just yet, but we’re hoping it will be significantly cheaper than its predecessor. There’s also no indication on when that Ice Cream Sandwich update might drop. LG tells us the Optimus Pad LTE will be out in Korea next week, and will go on sale  $772.
