Share on :
Godaddy.com is a hosting and domain service providers can be found easily via the internet. Custom domain service is very complicated in my opinion, but the advantage is we do not need to do a dns settings, and do not need to register to dns provider. This is because GoDaddy has also been providing it.

How to Add Custom Domain on Blogger with Godaddy I also included screenshots for your viewing pleasure. Here I assume you already have a domain that you have purchased from GoDaddy. To do this custom domain, Follow the steps given below:

1. Login to your Godaddy account and click My Account tab and click on the domains that have been purchased

2. In the dashboard click the nameservers

3. On the Set window nameservers, select I want to park my domains, and then click OK and OK again

4. Click My Account on the top right corner, then select the domain manager

5. Press the Tools tab, then select DNS Manager

6. Select Edit Zone

7. In CNAME select www, and the point to click the pencil icon and type: ghs.google.com then Save Zone File, Ok and Ok

8. Login to blogger, Dasboard, Settings, Publishing, Custom Domain, Switch to advanced settings, then type in your domain to complete. Example: www.bloggertech.com and type the word verification that came and Save Settings.

9. Give redirect check box, type the word verification again then save the settings

10. Login to Domain Manager again. Choose your domain, then Forward Domain

11. The new window will appear Forwarding and Masking. Select http: enter a domain name with www. Make sure the Update checked my DNS settings to support this change. (Recommended)

In the advanced options make sure the selected forward only with the redirect type: Permanently I am forwarding my domain. This option will allow search engines can also track your new domain from the old domain.

Press Preview first and see the preview box that appears right beside your blog, to be sure whether it's blogging. If correct press OK. Then press OK again. Wait for 2x24 hours, the domain will be opened to make sure DNS is ready.
